Monday, November 12, 2007 at 6:00 p.m.
1. Call to Order/Roll Call.
The meeting was called to order at 6:02 p.m.
Roll call was taken by the Town Secretary.
Council present included: Mayor Charles Niswanger, Mayor Pro-Tem David Bristol, Deputy Mayor Pro-Tem
Turley, Kenneth Dugger, Kevin Drown, Mike Wadsworth, and Ray Smith.
Staff present included: Mike Land, Town Manager and Matthew D. Denton, Town Secretary.
School Board present included: Sonya Airhart, Dan Tolleson, Johnny Warren, David Toney, Wayn Bernstien
and Daniel Jones.
School Board staff present included: Drew Watkins, School Superintendent.
2. Discuss any upcoming Prosper Independent School District and Town sponsored events.
The Town Council and School Board discussed the Prosper Town Christmas to be held December 8, 2007.
3. Discuss current and future zoning and development activities and infrastructure projects within
the Town,including, but not limited to: Forest City Development.
The Town Council and School Board discussed the development activities within the Town.
Mike Land, Town Manager, presented the Council and Board with a handout listing all the current
developments within the Town.
4. Discuss current and future plans for the acquisition, development, and/or construction of Prosper
Independent School District facilities.
Drew Watkins, School Superintendent, discussed with the Council the future plans for school facilities and
school sites.
5. Discuss the status of current and future joint projects of the Prosper Independent School District
and the Town,including, but not limited to:
a. Park site adjacent to the PISD stadium site;
b. Future park/school sites;
c. Tennis courts at the future school sites;
d. Shared administration operations
e. Permit team for future PISD projects
The Council and Board discussed the items listed on the agenda.
6. Adjourn
Motioned by Deputy Mayor Pro-Tern Turley, seconded by Councilmember Dugger to adjourn.
Motion approved 7-0.
