Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at 6:30 p.m.
1. Call to Order/Roll Call.
The meeting was called to order at 6:35 p.m.
Roll call was taken by the Town Secretary.
Council present included: Mayor Charles Niswanger, Dave Turley, Lisa Dritschler, and Mike Wadsworth.
Councilmember Bristol is attending a significant professional event.
Staff present included: Douglas Mousel, Interim Town Manager; Julie Fort, Town Legal Council; and Matthew
Denton, Town Secretary.
2. Consider and act upon an ordinance to receive and accept as true and correct the Canvassed
voting results for the Special Election held on November 7, 2006 as presented by the Town
Secretary and hereby declare the results of the election to be as set forth in an ordinance and that
Isaid ordinance should be adopted. (MD)
Motioned by Wadsworth, seconded by Turley to approve the ordinance. Motion approved 3-0.
3. Recess into closed session in compliance with Section 551.001 et. Seq. Texas Government Code, to
wit, Section 551.071, to consult with the Town's attorney regarding legal aspects of election law, a
matter in which the duty of the City Attorney under the Texas Disciplinary rules of Professional
Conduct of the State Bar of Texas conflicts with the Open Meetings Act.
Council did not recess into closed session.
4. Reconvene into regular session and take any action necessary as a result of the closed session.
5. Adjourn.
Motioned by Wadsworth, seconded by Dritschler to adjourn. Motion approved 3-0.
