Parks and Recreation Board and Town

Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 6:00 p.m.
1. Call to Order/Roll Call.
Meeting was called to order at 6:04 p.m.
Roll call was taken by the Town Secretary.
Council present included: Mayor Charles Niswanger, Mayor Pro-Tern David Bristol, Dave Turley, Kevin
Drown, and Mike Wadsworth.
Staff present included: Douglas Mousel, Town Administrator; Claude Thompson, Town Planner; Hulon
Webb, Director of Development Services; Karen Gandy, Executive Director of the Economic
Development Corporation; and Matthew Denton,Town Secretary.
Parks and Recreation Board members present included: Chairman Trent Lewis, Jan Brown(arrived at
6:13), Amy Drown, Maureen Patin, and Scott Sigman.
2. Discuss with Town Council the progress and receive direction on certain proposed elements
of the Parks and Trails Master Plan.
Parks and Recreation Board Chairman Trent Lewis gave council and overview of the progress of the
Parks Master Plan.
Francois de Kock and Lenny Hughes with Halff Associates gave council an in depth presentation on the
vision of the Parks Master Plan.
3. Adjourn.
Motioned by Kevin Drown, seconded by Mike Wadsworth to adjourn. Motion approved 4-0.
