The City Attorney stated that in response to the request of Council he had reviewed the letters from the former Mayor and was of the opinion that the Mayor was not authorized to approve a plat and, further, that the recorded survey did not constitute a subdivision plat and, therefore did not describe a lot of record. On a motion by Johnny Johnson, seconded by Steve Bell, the permit was unanimously disapproved. q,,l�' _� cG Tim Allen - Industrial District: Tim Allen was present to present a 'e' prelµiminary plat and, conditioned upon showing; elevations and ownersh11P of the property to the west and to the south, it was unanimously accepted on a motion by Cecil Norris, and seconded by Doyce Stanton. Prosper School: A plan was presented by the school district requesting temporary se of Eighth Street for acess. On a motion by Doyce Stanton, seconded by Johnny Johnson, Council unanimously approved the use of the street for a period not to exceed one (1) year, provided that a .g; to be installed at the school property and access be limited to only the morning and afternoon hours when buses are operating. The access be permanetly closed when an alternate route becomes available. A rate increase was approved for Moore Industrial upon a motion by Steve Bell and seconded by John Christie.
