The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m.

TO CANVASS ELECTION

Staff Members Present:
Harlan Jefferson, Town Manager
Robyn Battle, Town Secretary
Hulon Webb, Executive Director of Development and Community Services
2. Pledge of Allegiance and Pledge to the Texas Flag.
The Pledge of Allegiance and the Pledge to the Texas Flag were recited.
3. Consider and act upon an ordinance canvassing the returns and declaring the
results of the May 9, 2015, General Election.
Town Secretary Robyn Battle presented this item before the Town Council. The Collin
County and Denton County Election Administrations have provided a tabulation of votes
cast in the May 9, 2015, General Election. The Town Secretary certified that the
following candidates were duly elected to the respective positions shown:
Town Council, Place 2 Kenneth Dugger
Town Council, Place 6 Jason Dixon
Mayor Pro -Tern Miller made a motion and Councilmember Davis seconded the motion to
approve Ordinance No. 15-30, canvassing the returns and declaring the results of the
May 9, 2015, General Election, in accordance with state law and the Town of Prosper
Charter. The motion was approved by a vote of 7-0.
4. Town Secretary Administers Oaths of Office.
Town Secretary Robyn Battle administered the Oaths of Office to Councilmember
Dugger and Councilmember Dixon.

5. Mayor Presents Certificates of Election.
Mayor Smith presented Certificates of Election to Councilmember Dugger and
Councilmember Dixon.
6. Adjourn
The meeting was adjourned at 6:06 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2015.
