A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
PROSPER, TEXAS, HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGING THE TOWN OF
PROSPER, TEXAS PARTICIPATION IN THE TREE NORTH TEXAS
INITIATIVE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF PROSPER, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: The Town's commitment to the education of its residents regarding
the benefits to tree plantings.
SECTION 2: The Town's commitment to activities that promote the planting of
trees throughout the Town.
SECTION 3: The Town's goal to plant 18,000 trees within the Town of Prosper
over the next ten years.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
RESOLVED THIS 22"d DAY OF MARCH, 2011.
