Purchasing Some specific examples: •FY 2020-2021 Purchase Orders were rolled forward due to items being backordered (firearms, ammunition, ballistic armor, and tactical gear). •Longer lead times for items such as vehicles, mobile equipment, steel products, office furniture, etc. •Vehicle orders canceled by the manufacturer. This cost the Town over $50,000 to resource for comparable units. •Additional fuel surcharges added to quotes and invoices. •One week price guarantees on quotes for steel products. •30-day price guarantees on many of the CMAR trade bids.
