Discussion items. Agenda Item 2. • Prosper ISD Stadium Traffic Plan. (DK) Prosper ISD Stadium Traffic Plan •First Official Event Scheduled for 08/17 –Meet the Eagles •First Home Football Game –08/30 start time is 7:00 p.m. •Prosper ISD Police Department is responsible for stadium security and all traffic control points. •BNSF will be coordinated with before each event. •All social media posts will be generated through ISD media staff and Town sites will share as deemed necessary by Town staff. •Designated Golf Cart parking is at Boyer Elementary. •Prosper FD will have (2) two ambulances staged during game time. •Signage will be generated by ISD staff and will be staged in and around stadium. Prosper ISD Stadium Traffic Plan •Prosper ISD Police Department will dedicate 20 officers to each event for interior security and traffic control. •Pre-Event traffic will flow from both east and west corridors (DNT and Preston Road). Parking for home and away is not designated. •Post-Event traffic will be directed east ad west out of the stadium depending upon which exit event goers use. Please see map •Frontier Parkway will become (2) two westbound lanes of traffic to DNT. Traffic will then be directed north and south on DNT. •Event goers that use the north exit of the stadium will be directed east onto Frontier Parkway and directed towards Preston Road. Prosper ISD Stadium Traffic Plan •(2) Two officers will be staged at Preston Road with access to the emergency lights to help with the flow of traffic after the game only. •(1) One officer will be staged at the north exit of Prosper High School after the game. •(1) One officer will be staged at Talon and Frontier Parkway to manage the stop sign at that intersection before and after the game. •(1) One officer will be staged at the north entry/exit of the stadium before and after the game. •(2) Two officers will be staged at the east entry/exit point of Frontier Park before and after the game. These officers will also assist with pedestrian traffic from the Lightfarms area. Prosper ISD Stadium Traffic Plan •(2) Two officers will be staged at the west entry/exit point of Frontier Park before and after the game. These officers will also assist with pedestrian traffic from the Lightfarms area. •(2) Two officers will be staged at the intersection of Frontier Parkway and DNT after the game only. •Remaining officers will remain in the stadium and stadium parking lots. •Officers will report to their designated points at the end of the third quarter.
