Consent Agenda

Consider and act upon minutes from the following

Agenda Item 5b.
Consider and act upon ratifying purchases from Odessa
Pumps, related to the emergency replacement of three
failed wastewater lift station pumps, and rebuilding
two wastewater pumps to act as reserves.
Description.
On Friday, October 26, 2018, wastewater pump number
two at La Cima Lift Station failed.
On Monday, January 21,2019, wastewater pump number
one at La Cima Lift Station failed.
On Friday, February 1, 2019, wastewater pump number
two at the Public Works Lift Station failed.
Description Cont.
The Purchasing Office issued emergency PO’s including PO No.
19067, PO No. 19155, and PO No. 19158 each in the amount
of $21,432.00 totaling $64,296.00.
With three inoperative pumps, staff processed a change order
to PO 19067 for expedited next-day delivery (“hot shot”) for
one pump in the amount of $3,359.00.
Description Cont.
To maintain a working standby inventory, staff sent two of the
younger Hydromantic submersible pumps to be-rebuilt.
Rebuilt pumps have an equivalent life span to new pumps,
and the rebuilt pumps will be utilized when pumps are
required to be removed and/or serviced.
The Purchasing Office is preparing to issue two additional POs
to Odessa Pumps for these rebuilds in the amounts of
$11,093.81 and $14,516.77, respectively.
Recommendation.
•Town staff recommends ratifying purchases from Odessa
Pumps, related to the emergency replacement of three failed
wastewater lift station pumps and the rebuild of two
wastewater pumps to act as reserves.
Agenda Item 5c.
Consider and act upon authorizing the Town Manager
to execute an Interlocal Agreement between the North
Central Texas Emergency Communication District and
the Town of Prosper for regional 9-1-1 service.

Conduct a Public Hearing, and consider and act upon a
request to amend Planned Development-75 (PD-75),
generally to modify the Office District, on 67.7±acres,
located on the northwest corner of Prosper Trail and
Dallas Parkway. (Z18-0019)

Agenda Item 8.
Consider and act upon awarding Bid No. 2019-26-B to
Mario Sincola & Sons Excavating, Inc., related to
construction services for the E-W Collector Roadway
Improvement project; and authorizing the Town
Manager to execute a construction agreement for the
same.
Agenda Item 9.
Consider and act upon authorizing the Town Manager
to execute an Interlocal Agreement between the City of
McKinney, Texas, (on behalf of the McKinney Urban
Transit District) and the Town of Prosper, Texas, related
to the provision of transit services.

•Be legally blind

*However if live in Denton County, you can travel in Denton
County only within your city and all of Collin County.
How Funded
•Participants will receive a reloadable debit card.
•For every $1 that the participant spends on taxi service
out-of-pocket, the program matches three -to -one.
For example, if you load $5 onto the card, the match is an
additional $15 for a total of $20.
Capped at $600/individual/month.
