Cards for use in compiling tax information to coincide with those of the school
records was discussed. Doyce Stanton volunteered to investigate the possibility
of getting these cards printed for the city and the school at a nominal cost.
Radine Herron promised her services in compiling the tax information.
Follow - up discussion on the animal ordinance - Mayor Mullendore reported having
talked with Mr. McWilliams in the office of Abernanthy and Orr. He was informed
that there should be to ordinances - one for dogs and the other wq*=-1ux for other
animals. He instructed the secretary to talk with Mr. McWilliams and mention the
high points of the discussion of the council. It was -recommended by the council
that 5,000 square feet be provided for each cow, calf, or horse and 2,000 square
feet for each sheep. Also that shelter with protection on three sides be provided.
It was concluded by the council that there should be no animal breeding within
public view within the city limits.
Motion made by Cecil Norris, seconded by Jady Webster that -`C. L. Gotcher be given
a WvQQ 140.00 cost of living increase in his monthly salary effective January
1, 1974.
Mattie Bridges announced plans for the development of which she and Ralph Bridges
own.
Mayor Mullendore instructed the secretary to ask Prosier Insurance Agency to
write a policy on the building; and its contents.(This was done Dec. 11. The
policy being in the amount of $1500.00.)
