It was discussed and decided that the agenda for the month of P regular
meeting include the considering a resol ution and passin- of an ordinance
creating a Zoning commission . This action to be published in a local
Newspaper prior to such'meeting. Motion Made ,seconded and passed that
City pay dues ofy5 to No Central Texas Cities Secretary Association.

Ralph Botier Mayor, ���attie Bri gees, JoyceK -ncaid,Wallace Vickers and Bates
Byrom. Mattie Bridges -aade -aotion to accept election Judges report seconded
byJoyce Kincaid that 1,11allace Vickers,Cecil Norris and Jady Webster be
declared legally elected as aldermen,'Nallace Vickers recieving 37 votes
Cecil Norris 28 votes,Jady Webster 27 votes. The following recieved ?write
in votes Weldon Holbrook 11, Quincy Edwards 7, Lee Gilaer6, Grady Sniother,ion
32V.C.Spradley2 and Chester Early 1. This motion carried by a unanimous
vote with all roe-nbers present. 2.1otion :jade by Bates Byron seconded by
Wallace Vickers that the City pay �:'15 each to the three persons holding
the election,this Motion ca ied with five affirmative votes.

Prosper City Council met in regular session with following ,aembers present
'ialph Boyer, Mayor, Joyce Kincaid, -Cecil Norris, Jady OVebster, Nallace Vickers
Invocation was given by C.G.Hays. Iinutes of last meeting read and approved.
Statement of City finances was given by idayor Boyer, :motion ',.,,ade by Cecil
Dorris Seconded by Jady l�Vebster that all billa be paid as presented,:"'otion
carried. Six citizens of Prosper met with Council in regard to City tatters.
Russell Betts Cily planner gave a report on progress to date on City plans.
rdotion ,?lade by Cecil Norris, Seconded. by Joyce Kincaid that following
Ordinance iJ 107 be adopted, To wit, An ordinance creating; a planning and
Zoning co:_ciission for the City of Prpsper, Texas , Prescribing the powers
and duties of said Cori:maission,Des ignating the method of appointing -:embers
to the Co;n.ission and filling Vacancies therein;and setting the tern of
Office for r>e:.:bers and their co:,ipensation. This aotion carried with an
unaniz:sous vote with all e gibers present. 'oti on made by Jady Vebster and
seconded by 11-Attie 13didg-es that Resolution be adopted authorizing City
Councilto appoint _--lembers to the planning and Zoning Co�IJ7+ission.-notion
carried, The following, Citizens being; appointed to the Planning and
