City council met in regular session with following members present
Ralph Bo-yer,C.E.Bell.Lee Gilmer, Bates Byrom, and C.G.Hays Sec.
Minutes of last meeting read and approved.
Motion made by Bates Byrom seconded by C.E.Bell that all bills be
paid as presented, motion carried.
There being no futher busine oeting adjourned.

January 11 1971
City council met in regular session,minutes of last meeting read and
approvedi Members n attendance Ralph Boyer,Ba�,es Byrom,Wallace Vickers and
C.E.Bell.
Motion made and carried to pay all bills as presented to date.
After a lenghty discussion in several matters relating to the City.
and its future meeting was adjourned.

February 8 1971
City council met in regular ses^ion with following; members present
Ralph Boyer, Charles Bell, Lee Giliiier, Bates '3yrom,'Nallace Vickers EInd
Joe 16'axson. Invocation was Given by C.G.Hays.
Minutes of last meeting was read and approved.
1:11otion made by C.E. Bell, seconded by Lee Gilmer that all bills be paid
as presented to date,motiom carried. t:lotion made by Charles Bell and
seconded by Lee Gilmer that city insur e buildings and elevated tower
as per last nolicyand add new ground storage tank for `P'10,000 and new
.petal building; for p3,000 and check with insurance agent in regard to
increasing insurance on elevated water storage reservoir.
Danville water corporation board :.met with city council in discussion
of greater water pressure to the town of Prosper after some lenghty
discussion it was agreed to await the study and report of city engineer
Mr Russell Betts who was present at this meeting_ and who gave some of
His findings to this date.
Motion made by Lee Gilmer seconded by Charles Bell that city council
designate first saturday in April,Apro1 the 3rd, 1971 for date .for
holding city election for the purpose of electing a ,iayor and two
councilmen. polls to open at 8a:n and close at 7pm. Deadline for filing
for a place on city council will be March 3rd.
