Prosper City Council met in regular meeting with following members
present,Ralph 'Boyer Mayor, C.P. Bell, Lee Gilmer,Joe Tviaxson,INallace
Vickers and. C.G.Hays Sec.and Councilman Bates Byrom.
1,11nutes of last meeting read and approved.
Motion made by Lee Gilmer,seconded by Wallace Vickers that all bills
be paid as presented to date,motion carried.
The City Council was sitting as equalization board and after hearing_
from two resident tax payers an agreement was reached and taxes for
the year of 1970 will remain as originally set.
Motion made by Lee Gilmer seconded by Bates Byrom that present valuation
of $4,850 on real property and $800 on personal property be retafitned
on the property of Mr & ivLrs U.N.Clary,motion carried by unanimous vote.
Motion made by Lee Gilmer,seconded by Joe T17axson that tax roll be approved
as rendered,motion carried by unanimous vote.
Motion made by Lee Gilmer seconded by Wallace Vickers that account of
$715,00 as rendered by B.L.Nelson & Company for engineering services
on water project be approved,motion carried.
Motion made by Lee Gilmer seconded by Joe Maxson that statemen6 from
Briggs -Weaver Co amount of 'p'85.07 be paid Motion carried.
T,Iotion made by Joe IViaxson seconded by Bates Byron%"`dity Attorne-t be
authorized to prepare an ordinance establishing a (no parkin^; zone)
beginning at the intersection of FM Road #1193 and Spur #439 continuing
South on the east side of Spur -#439 for a distance of one hundred and
fifty feet.Also an ordinance be prepared placing seventh street beginning
at Parvin and seventh east to the school property as (no parking Zone)
from 8am -to 4pm during school hours and 20 mile per hour speed limit
be established on seventh street beginning at intersection of Spur ,°#439
and continuing east to school property and said 20 mile limit be placed
on Parvin street beginning at intersection of Seventh street and
continuing south to intersection of Broadway and futhermore that stop
signs be placed at afore mentioned intersections and proper penalty
be provided for in violation of said ordinances.

City council met in regular meeting with following members present

TALinutes of last meeting read and approved. Dickie Prli.11s and Ed Harpold
met with council in regard to pick up service for garbage and waste.
