Town of Prosper Minutes February 10, 1969
The City Council met with the following members present: Lee
Gilmer, Charles Bell, Bates Byrom, Wallace Vickers and C. G. Hays,

Minutes of last meeting were read and approved.
A motion was made by Lee Gilmer and seconded by Charles Bell that
Council pass ordinance presented by Telephone Company and a copy
be filed in the minutes. I'Iotion carried.
The private individuals John Laney and flay Hanky presented the
proposition to haul garbage and trash from the town of Prosper
two times weekly, a.maximum container of 20 q�1,].on, via fee
; of 2.00 per month plus ';'50.00 a month per Iwaf r�"�mA�er. `—*7"-47''�-
Lee Gilmer presentproposition from the
city of Frisco, maximum container of 30 gallons, witha, fee of
�,2.00 per water meter.
Wallace Vickers and Lee Gilmer were appointed to meet with City
of Frisco to get their final proposal
Motion was made to authorize an election to be held on Saturday,
the 5th day of April to elect Mayor and two J`ldermen, moved by
Lee Gilmer, seconded by Charles Bell. Motion carried.
Mrs. W. T. Skelton was appointed. Election Judge with authority
to have two clerks, election to be held in the Community Center.
T"Ie surface water drainage problem on 7th Street at the A. L.
Dalton driveway and the open ditch crossing 7th St. was sssigned
Lee Gilmer, Bates Byrom and Charles Hebb for a solution.
Motion made by C. E. Bell, seconded by Charles W'edd that the
Audit from Don Holbrook be accepted and approved. Motion
carried, payment was made and copies filed in minute book.
The School has turned over to the town all sewer and water
connect fees on the trunk lines leading to the school henceforth
and have asked that the City retain the 4.50.00 connect fee for
each of these services to correspond with the charges for this
service made in the past.
The matter of City taxes on the property now owned by Smith
Douglas Fertilizer Co., was discussed and referred to the
City Secretary asking that the Secretary forward to Smith
Douglas rendition forms for the years 1967-68. Also connect fees
±Jaxxg for sewer of the J. B. Sterling residence be collected
and a report on the connect fee for sewer on the Elmer Templin
wash rack to see if it has been Maid.
