City Council met with the following members present, Mayor C.G.Hays
Aldermenr.. C.E.Bell, Lee Gilmer, Charles Webb, and Bates Byrom which
constituted a quorum.
Mrs's. Johnny Johnson,Cecil Norris and Elmer Templin met with the Council
and discussed maintenance and repair of 5th St.
A Motion was made by Lee Gilmer and seconded by C.E.Bell and carried by
a unanimous vote that John Cantrell be employed to survey and give engineering
data as to an estimated cost to gravel and pave 5th St.
The Meeting was adjourned.

Minutes City Council October 14, 1968
The City Council met with the following members present, Mayor C.G.Hays,
Aldermen, C.E.Bell, Wallace Vickers, Charles Webb, Bates Byrom and Lee
Gilmer who were all the members.
The Minutes of the last meeting was read and approved without change.
A.motion was made by Charles Bell and seconded by Lee Gilmer that a resolution
filed on the following page of this minute book be approved, the resolution
carried 6-0 for. This resolution purtained to the issuance of warrants
and the letting of a contrac`i for the extension of the Danville water line
project, to the water works sight.
A motion was made by Lee Gilmer and seconded by C.E•Bell that all bills
presented as of this date be paid. The bdll from Danville Water Corp.
in the amount of $1640.00 for the extension of the it line from the Caldwell
Corner North to the Corner of the Craig property was included.
The Meeting was Adjourned.
