Town of Prosper April 16, 1968
The folowing City Aldermen met at 3:00 PM at the Prosper State Bank
for the transaction of the following business; Lee Gilmer, Charles
Webb, B.W.Durham, Wallace Vickers and City Sec. Ralph C.Boyer.
The proposition of the City of Prosper and the Danville Water Corp.
involving usage by the City of Prosper of Danville Water Corp. water
lines and the,City of Prosper's buying water through the Danville Water
Corp. was presented by the Engineer for the Danville Water Corp. and Mr.
Wilson and Mr. Whitsell both directors'of Danville Water Corp.
A motion was made by Lee Gilmer and seconded by B.W.Durham that the
Town of Prosper pay to the Danville Water Corp. an estimated amount of
$4,000.00 - more or less - onthe cost of increasing the size of the
Danville water Corp. water line approx. 11,000 feet, beginning at the
Caldwell corner and running East; and the installation of a 2j " line
beginning at the Caldwell corner and running north the the Town of
Prosper. The final amount to be paid by the Town of Prosper is to be
detremined by the actual cost of laying the 21"line north and the
increasing of the size on the estimated 11,000 feet running east.
The motion was put to a vote by Lee Gilmerm acting Mayor, and it
carried unanimously. -
The Engineer for the Danville Water Corp. is to present to the Town
of Prosper a contract to finalize the cooperative use of their facil-
ities by the Town of Prosper for a consideration.

Minutes- Town of Prosper 4-17-68
The following City Aldermen met on 4-17-68 at 07:30 PM at the Community
Center and transacted the follwwing business. Lee Gilmer acting Mayor,
R.H.Willis, B.W.Durham, Charles Webb and Ralhp C.Boyer City Sec.
The first order of business was the reading of the minutes of the meeting
held on 4-16-68 - they approved as read. The reading of the minutes of the
meeting held prior to 4-16-68 were not read being postponed due to the
illness of the Mayor Hays.
B.W.Durham made .a motion seconded by Charles Webb the the Aldermen certify
the results of the City Election held on April 6, 1968 and as reported by
the election judge Mr's. W.T.Skelton and being recorded as follows;
Total votes cast - 90 ; Johhrq T.Johnson 33, R.L.Waller 31; Wallace Vickers
57; Charles Robinson 21; Charles Webb 70; Bates Byrom 41; Quincy Edwards 9.
The followinnj�aldermen were sworn in by the City Sec.; Charles Webb% Wallace
Vickers, Baths Byrom all for a two year term from April 1968 to April 1970.
The Council roll for the year consist of - C.G.Hays-Mayor; Lee Gilmer,
Charles Bellr Charles Webb, Wallace Vickers, Bates Byrom. Lee Gilmer was
appointed Mayor Pro-tem in the absence of Mayor Hays, Charles Webb was
appointed secretary of Council procieding. (over)
