05.06.1968 Town Council MinutesCharles Webb made the motion seconded. -by Bates Byrom that Lee Gilmer have the
authority to see Paul Baxter in regard to the rendering of the 1968 property
for taxation by the City.
The matter was discussed of the installation of a drainage pipe at the corner
of Ray Hamilton and 3rd street and the rocking of a section of the dirt street
running south to the Joe Gentle House ( now under construction). The matter
was not resolved by definate action but was left to action of prior nature by
precidence.
The matter wqs discussed of boring under 1193 FM (Broadway St.) at the TLM.Hughes
property for the purpose of future extension of sewer, at the time the Danville
Water Corp. contractor was doing like work in the area; the matter was not resolved
by definate fiction by the council.

Minutes Town of Prosper May 6, 1968
The City Gousel met with the following members present; C.G.Hayq, Lee Gilmer,
C.E.Bell, Chas Webb, Wallace Vickers, Bates Byrom.
Motion made by Lee Gilmer and seconded by B.W.Durham the the Town of Prosper
go on record approving the resolution setting up the Water, Sewer and Refuse
Disposal District in the Small Cities Association of Collin and Denton Co.s,
and authorising the Sate representative Bob Hendricks and Alonzo Jamison
to present this resolution the State Legislature for adoption on the First
Called Session.
Motion made by C.-6.Bell and seconded by Chas.Webb and carried unanimously
that the regular meeting of the City Counsil be set for the second Monday, in
each Month at 08:00 PM at the Prosper Community Center.
Charles Webb and Lee Gilmer were appointed by the mayor to check on the
probable cost of hauling trash by the City an a twice a month basis and to
check into the rate that the City should charge for this service and report
at the next regular meeting.
Motion made by Charles Bell and seconded by Lee Gilmer and carried unanimously
that the City run a 6" water line 100 feet of more and the Prosper State Bank
run a 6" sewer line east on First Street to service the New Bank Bldg.site.
The Mayor appointed C.E.Bell, Lee Gilmer and Wallace Vickers to investigate
the possibility of installing a sewer line through an area and to the T.M.
Hughes residence, and to report back to the council.
Motion made by Lee Gilmer and seconded by C.E.Bell and carried unanimously
that the street in front of the Joe Maxson house and the street leading to
and in front of Joe Gentle house be rocked and the Town of Prosper be obligated
to pay for j of the cost of the rock.
The Mayor appointed Lee Gilmer and Bates Byrom as the City Street Committee
and Charles Bell and Wallace Vickers as the City Water & Sewer Committeg.
