Board of Alderman May 59 1965
Board of Alderman met with the following members present
Roy Skelton, C.E.Bell, C.G.Hays, the election returns of
the April 6th election were canv•,ssed and approved. The
following bills were read and approved, and all bills
outstanding were ordered paid.
The following newly elected members of the Aldermanic
form of City Gov. were duly sworn in. C.G.Hays-Mayor,
C.E.Bell and Lee Gilmer- Commissioners, R.H.Willis,
B.W.Durham, Charles Webb -Aldermen.
Motion made to elect R.H.Willis as Sec. of City Council.
Meeting adjourned.

Board of Alderman June 7, 1965
The City Council met with the following members present
Charles Bell, Lee Gilmer, Charles Webb, C.G.H. ys, R.H.Wills
the minutes of the past meeting were read and approved.
Motion made and seconded that the following bills be paid,
14.64 Coop. Truck Ins. 101.00 ,18.70 Wrigr)t LAudry,
3.66 Bowles Edens, 75.36 Briggs Weaver, 78.43 Hunt,
Delinquenu- tax notices were authorized to be sent out
by Sec. Motion made to pay Raymond Nelson on dirt work at
former city dump ground, motion made to pay V.C.Spradley
$50.00 for work as Marshall, motion made that fire phone be
moved from Terry Waller to Norris Store.

City Council met with the following members present,
C.G.Hays, Lee Gilmer, C.h•Bell, R.H.Willis, Charles Webb.
Minutes were read and approved from the last meeting.
A motion was made and seconded that the city employ a
qualified man to ml'e a new City Map, showing all line
and installations of city utilities. The purchase of paint
for fire plugs. The opening of the street running south
between Ray Hamilton and Richard Gotcher was approved and
Aldermen Willis and Webb were assigned to oversee the project.
It wgs approved that the public water sign be repaired on
highway 289. It was approved that all outstanding bills be paid
to date and that the City Sec. be authorized to buy a new tax ledger.
