The Board of Commissioners of the Town of Prosper was
held in the Prosper State Bank Bldg. , on Monday, November 19th,
1962, with the following present,
U. N. Clary, Mayor
Roy Skelton, Co mmissioner,
C. E. Bell, Commis'si oner
Absent, None.
A petition for Annexation to the Town of Prosper was presented
bby Roy Skelton and the Prosper Independent School District, asking that
certain territory be annexed, said territory being largely the old farm df
Robt. Mitchell, but being accurately d'escrcibed in said petition.
In pursuamce of the above petition an Ordinance entitled,
"An Ardinance Annexing Certaan Territory Contiguous to and Adjoining
the Town of Prosper, Texas, to the Town of Prosper, Texas, and declaring
an Emergency, was by motion of Commissioner C. E. Bell, passed by
urrimanimous vote of all present. $id Ordinance was ordered to be made
a part of the minutes of this meeting, and was ordered filed in the File
of Ordinances, as of Nov. 19th, 1962 Petition was ordered filed with
said Ordinance.
An Ordinance entitled, " An Ordinance Providing for an Alternate
Method -for the Extension of Water and Sewer Mains, providing for the Rdcovering
of the Cost thereof, Declaring An Emergency and Providing For An Effective
Date of This Ordinance" was presented, and, upon motion of Commis-
sioner Skelton, it was approved by unanimous vote of all present, and it
was ordered made a part of the minutes of this meeting and a -copy filed
in the File of Ordinances under date of Nov. 19th, 1962.
After discussing the various Water and Sewer Funds, it was
agreed to notify our Paying Agent, the First National Bank, Dallas, of our
intention to pay the following numbered Water and Sewer Bonds, as of Jan. '
1, 1963 1955 Hewer System Tax Bonds.
Bond No. 4, due Jana 1, 1963 $ 500.00
Bond No. 17; due Jan. 1, 1982, 5,00. 00
1955 Sewer System Revenue Bonds.
Bond No. 7, due Jan. 1, 1963, 500. 00
Bond No. 16, due Jan. 1, ,1972, 0-00. 00
Bond No. 17, due Jan. 1, 1973, 1, 000. 00
Bond No. 18, due Jan. 1, 1974 500, 0'0
Bond No. 19, due Jan. 1, 1975 1, 000. 00
Bond No. 20, due Jan. 1, 1c976 1, 000. 00
Bond No. 21,- Due Jan. 1, 1977 __________ 1�000_00__
Total payment, $ 7,000.00
A letter of Mr. Ralph C. Boyer, regarding the matter
of Fallout Protection was read, and it was agreed tothja.t it was timely, and
that the Commisss on would take some action in the future.
The meeting then adjourned.
