Town of Prodper.
The Board of Commissioners of the
Town of Prosper met in called session in the Prosper
State Bank Bldg., at 2 o'clock P.M. on Saturday, April
4th, 1959, withthe following pr esent;
U.N.Clary, Mayor.
Roy Skelton, Gommtssiioner
D.C.Reece, Commissioner.
The mayor stated that the purpose
of the meeting was to hear a complaint from one of the
citizens of thw tnwn, Mr. JA:..Sterling.
Mr. Sterling stated that he had not
understood the policy of the -board in regard to sewer
extension, and thought that he had beeen mistreated in
that re spe c t•-
The memVers of the Board explained
that it had taken practically all of the proceeds of the
bond issUS& in 1855 to buildtWthe sewer and lines, in
accordance withthe engineers plans, and that in samo cases
it was necessary to require a payment from thesewer cus-
tomer in order that the line could be built. The cases
of Lee Gi3Aer and Charles Robison were cited and the
Board agreed that it would pay one half of the cost of ex-
tending the sewer main from the nearest point to a point
in front of Mr. Sterling's homw, but not more than $ 200 ..
as this was done in the case of Mr. Gilmer.
The matter was left with Mr. Sterling
to build the line whenever he wished, with certain future
rights in the line# as in the Gilmer :ind Robison cases.

Sterling was discussed, and it was agreed that they were
in line with other taxes in the town.
Ali warrants issued since the da" of
the last meeting, were ordered paid.
There being n o furtherlm business to
come before the meeting, it was adjourned.
