THE STATE OF TOCAS
COUNTY OF COLLIN
TOWN OF PROSPER.
The Town Coinniiision of the Town of Prosper,
convened in Called Session. at the office of the Mayor, in Prosper
State Bank, in Prosper, Texas, at 3.00 P.M. on February 2$th,
1953, pursuant to call of the Meeting by the Town Secretary, Mr.
C.W.Harper. The following were present; U.N.C1ary. Mayor.
Commissioners, W.H.Field and Roy Skelton, constituting a quorum,
none being absent.
Commissioner'W.H.Field introduced a proposed
Ordinance, which was read in full. and -Commissioner Roy Skelton
made a mption that the rule requiring Ordinances be read at more than
one meeting be suspended, which motion m%s seconded by Commissioner
W.H.Field, and was carried by the following vote: ayes; Commissioners
W.H.Field and Roy Skelton and Mayor U.N.Clary. Noes, None.
Commissioner W.H.Field made a motion that the Ordinance
be passed finally, which motion`e,s seconded by Commissioner Roy Skel—
ton.- The motion carried by the following vote: Ages, Commissioners
W.H.Field and Roy Skelton, and Mayor, U.N.Clary. Noes, None.
The Mayor then announced the Ordinance had finally
passed, and that a copy of the same would be made a part of the
minutes of this meeting, the said Ordinance beiig entitled as follows:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AIM ORDINANCE GRANTING TO TEXAS
POWU & LIGHT COMPANY, ATS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, AN
ELECTRIC LIGHT, HR&T AND POWER FRANCHIS ` PTED BY THE `
CITY COMMISSION OF PROSPER, TE7CAS, ON T TH DAY OF (,
MARCH, 1924, SO AS TO EICTEND THE TERN OF SAID FRANCHISE`
Z1 YEARS FROM ITS-PIL"SENT EXPREATION DATE.
PASSED AND APPROVED, This the 25th day of
February, 1953•
