06.10.1926 Town Council MinutesV �1I f,J A Prosper, Texas, June 10, 1926. 79 A meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Prrosper was held at the office of the Mayor at 10.00 o1clock A.F. on June loth 1926, with Mayor U.N.Clary and Commissioners J.C.Holbrook and B.B.Cherry present. Minutes of all previous XXXJLpxXx zdx meetings, heretofore un- approved, were read, and upon potion duly seconded, were all approved. The purchase from the Russell Grader Mfg. Co. of Texas, Inc., of Dallas, Texas, of one road grader and one scraper, as per their invoice of May 18th, 1926, No. D-26879, for a total price of $294.501, was approved, on the basis of $100.00 cash, $97.25 to be paid on Feb. 1, 1927 and $97.25 to be paid on Feb. 1, 1928, for which two deferred payments -warrants were order- ed executed, bearing interest from May 18, 1926 at!Ahe rate of W. per annum. An ordinace carrying out the terms of the above purchase was introduced by Mayor U.N.Clary and after some discussion same was passed unanimously, a copy of same to be inserted on these minutes, the original to go to the Russell Co. with the warrants. All enpennes incurred and warrants issued in payment therefor, that have been un-approved, were submitted, both by stub in warrant book, and the canceled warrants, and all that have been issued to date were duly approved All expenses incurred in street work and all contracts for same, were, by motion an# seconsd, unanimously approved. There being no further business to come before the meeting, the same adjourned. Secretary. w� Prosper, Texas, November 20, 1931. The Board of Commissioners of the town of Prosper met in called session at the office of the Mayor, in Prosper, Texas, on November 20th, 1931, with the following present; U.N.Clary, T-,tayor, W.H.Fleld, Commissioner, who were a majority of the Commissioners of the Town of Pros- per and who constituted a quorum of the Board. The Meeting was called to order by the Mayor, U.N. Clary. The minutes of the last meeting were read and ap- proved. k11 unppproved warrants were, by motion of Com- missioner W.H.Field, approved. Upon motion of Commissioner W.H.Field, Mr. J.D. Crank was appointed Commissioner to fill the remainder of the term of Commissioner HL.Cannaday, rrho had removed from the Town. There was called to the attention of the Commission the Budget prepared for the said Town by the Mayor thereof and filed with the Clerk of such town on the 16th day of "ovember, 1931, and it is ordered by the Commissionti that a hearing be had on the said. Budget before the Commission on the 8th day of December, 1931, and that proper notice of such hearing be given. There being no furher business to come before the Commission the same adjourned.
