RESOLUTION NO. 2021-15
A RESOLUTION BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF PROSPER,
TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE FISCAL YEAR 2019-2020 INDEPENDENT AUDIT
REPORT AND COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT; MAKING
FINDINGS; AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF THE AUDIT; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Town Council is required by Section 7.18 of the Town Charter to call for
an Independent Audit to be made of all accounts of the Town at the close of each fiscal year, a
report of which is to be presented to the Town Council; and
WHEREAS, Town staff engaged Pattillo, Brown, and Hill, LLP., Certified Public
Accountants, to complete the Town's Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Independent Audit; and
WHEREAS, the Town Charter requires that upon completion of the audit, a copy of the
audit shall be posted to the Town's website and copies placed on file in the office of the person
performing the duties of Town Secretary, as a public record.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
PROSPER, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1
The Town Council of the Town of Prosper, Texas, hereby accepts the Town's Fiscal Year
2019-2020 Financial Audit as presented by Pattillo, Brown, and Hill, LLP., Certified Public
Accountants.
SECTION 2
A copy of the completed audit shall be published immediately on the Town website and
copies of the audit placed on file in the office of the person performing the duties of Town
Secretary, as a public record.
SECTION 3
This Resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its passage.
DULY PASSED AND APPROVED, BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
PROSPER, TEXAS, ON THIS 23RD DAY OF MARCH, 2021.
