Notices of the public hearings were published in a newspaper of general circulation in the City. Subsequent to the
publications, public hearings were conducted in order to give all persons interested in the annexation the opportunity to be
heard.
This annexation was done in an objective manner and therefore will not have the affect of abridging the right of anyone to
vote on account of race, creed or color.
To my knowledge, the areas annexed have not been unsuccessfully annexed to the City, nor has there been any pending
litigation regarding these annexations.
I have also enclosed, for your benefit, a copy of a map and the legal description showing the location of the areas annexed.
There are no businesses or residential on these properties. If you have any questions, or require additional information,
please contact me at 972.346.2640.
Sincerely,
Shanae Jennin
