85-11 O - Amending Zoning of Mulach Property ORDINANCE 85-11
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF
PROSPER, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING THE USE OF CERTIAN PROPERTY IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS AMENDED AND .
DECLARING AN EMERGENCE.
WHEREAS, an application to change the zoning classification
for certain real property located within the limits of the City
of Prosper, Texas has been received by the City Council, and;
WHEREAS, due notice of said application was given as
required by law and a public meeting was held on said notice ; and, . .
WHEREAS, the City Council. has .duly considered said application
and any comments made at said .hearing,.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
- OF PROSPER, TEXAS:
SECTION _1 . The. official zoning map of the City of Prosper, Texas
shall be amended by changing the following described property
from a classification of Agricultural to a classification of
Industrial : ( See attached legal description)
SECTION 2. It shall be lawful to use said property for any -use
permitted in the Industrial use classification as provided in
the Ordinances of the City of Prosper, Texas .
SECTION 3 . The City Engineer.. is hereby directed to make
appropriate modifications to the official zoning map of the City.
SECTION 4. The City Council, having determined that the immediate
effectiveness of the within Ordinance is necessary. to the public
health, safety or welfare of the citizens of the City` of Prosper,
Texas, this. .Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its publication by the City Secretary.

• SUBJECT PROPERTY
The Subject. Property is located at the Northwest quadrant -of S.H. 289 and
U.S. 380, .approximately 1/4 mile Southwest of the Prosper City Limits, in
Collin County, Texas. The tract is approximately twelve miles West of
U.S. 75 (Central Expressway) . . The site is currently vacant and being
appraised as such.
The Subject land tract is briefly described as follows:

filed with the Town of Prosper, Texas by Mr. Ardo Mulack on

Currently the property is zoned Agricultural . Mr. Mulack
has requested a zoning classification of Industrial for the
purpose of light industrial/commercial-retail .
A Public Hearing has been set for 7 : 00 pm on June 18, 1985,
at the city Hall in Prosper, Texas . As a property owner
