93-14 O - Zoning Ordinance – Skelton Estate ORDINANCE #93- 14 0 0 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY o OF PROSPER, TEXAS : AUTHORIZING THE USE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS AMENDED AND DECLARING ITS EFFECTIVENESS . WHEREAS , AN APPLICATION TO CHANGE THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF PROSPER, TEXAS HAS BEEN RECEIVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, AND; WHEREAS , DUE NOTICE OF SAID APPLICATION WAS GIVEN AS IS REQUIRED BY LAW AND A PUBLIC HEARING WAS HELD ON SAID NOTICE, AND; WHEREAS , THE CITY COUNCIL HAS DULY CONSIDERED SAID APPLICATION AND ANY COMMENTS MADE AT SAID HEARING, IT IS. THEREFORE ORDAINED BY THE. CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PROSPER, TEXAS : SECTION 1 . THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PROSPER,.-TEXAS SHALL BE AMENDED BY CHANGING THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY FROM A CLASSIFICATION OF SINGLE FAMILY TO COMMERCIAL. . BRYANT ' S ADDITION # 1 , BLOCK 11 , LOTS 1A, 2 , 3 ,4A,4B & 4C SECTION 2 . IT SHALL BE LAWFUL TO USE SAID PROPERTY FOR ANY USE PERMITTED IN THE COMMERCIAL CLASSIFICATION AS PROVIDED IN THE ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PROSPER, TEXAS. SECTION 3 . THE CITY ENGINEER IS HEREBY DIRECTED TO MAKE APPROPRIATE MODIFICATIONS TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY. SECTION 4 . THE CITY COUNCIL, HAVING DETERMINED THAT THE IMMEDIATE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE WITHIN ORDINANCE IS NECESSARY TO THE PUBLIC WELFARE OF THE CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF PROSPER, TEXAS, THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFEC- TIVE UPON ITS ACCEPTANCE BY THE CITY COUNCIL.
