86-18 O - Rezoning Dalton – 125’ by 140’ of a .803 acre tract; Abstract #147, Tract #52 ORDINANCE 86-18
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF
THE CITY OF PROSPER, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING THE USE
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OFFICIAL
ZONING MAP AS AMENDED AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, an application to change the zoning classification
for certain real property located within the City of Prosper,
Texas has been received by the City Council, and;
WHEREAS, due notice of said application was given as is
required by law and a public hearing was held on said notice, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council has duly considered said application
and any comment made at said hearing,
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PROSPER, TEXAS:
SECTION 1 . The official zoning map of the City of Prosper,
Texas shall be amended by changing the following described property
from a classification of Single-Family to Commercial (with
restrictions)
Approximately 125 ' by 140 ' of a . 803
acre tract in the Collin County School
Land survey; Abstract # 147 ; Tract #
52.
SECTION 2. It shall be lawful to use said property for any
use permitted in the Commercial Use Classification except the
items listed under RESTRICTIONS (see attached) as provided
in the Ordinances of the City of Prosper, Texas.

SECTION 3 . The City Engineer is hereby directed to make
appropriate modifications to the official zoning map of the City.
SECTION 4. The City Council, having determined that the
immediate effectiveness of the within ordinance is necessary to
the public health, safety oe welfare of the citizens of the City
of Prosper, Texas, this Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its publication by the City Secretary.
