60-02 R - Canvassing Election Returns THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF COLLIN THE TOWN OF PROSPER BE IT REMEMBERED that on this the 7th day of March, A.D. 1960, the Commis— sion of the Town of Prosper, Texas, convened in special session called by the Mayor of said Town of Prosper, at the City Office in said Town, with the following members thereof present: U. N. Clary, Mayor Roy Skelton, Commissioner D. C. Reece, Commissioner C. W. Harper, City Secretary with no member of said Commission absent and constituting . quorum, at which meeting the following proceedings were had: Commissioner Skelton introduced a Resolution and made a motion that the same be adopted. The motion was seconded by Mayor U. N. Clary. The motion, carrying with it the adoption of the Resolution, prevailed by the following votes: AYES: Mayor U. N. PROPOSITION 122. "Shall the Commissioners of the Town of Prosper, Texas, be authorized to close and sell to Robert L. Mitchell four tracts of land out of the Mitchell Addition to the `'own of Prosper, and being portions of streets in said Addition," as described in deed recorded in Vol. 411, Page 162 of the Deed Records of Collin County, Texas. The City Commission of the Town of Prosper, Texas, should he and is hereby in all things and respects authorized, ordered and directed to close and discontinue the use of all the strips of land in the Town of Prosper, Texas, as follows: (1) to Robert L. Mitchell four tracts of land out of the Mitchell Addition to the Town of Prosper, and being portions of streets in said Addition, as described in deed recorded in Vol. 411, Page 162 of the Deed Records of Collin County, Texas; (2) to T. B. Norris a tract of land 60 by 140 feet, being a part of Hall Street, between Third Street and Broadway Street in the Town of Prosper; (3) to Mrs. Y. C. Shipley a tract of land 60 by 140 feet, being a part of Hall Street, between Second and Third Streets, in the Town of Prosper; (4) to Mrs. J. F. Brooks a tract of land 50 by 140 feet, being a part of College Street, between Third Street and Broadway Street, in the Town of Prosper; (5) to Mrs. Marguerite H.
