V..r THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF COLLIN TOWN OF Prosper On this, the 16th dezt of October, 1943 the City Com- mission of the Town of Prosper, Texas, net in Special sesssion, at the regular meetin plane, with the following members present; U.N.Clary, Mayor Roy Skelton, Commissiner W.H.Field, Commissioner. C.S1.liarper, Secretary. and the following abesnt: None., when, among other preseedings had, were the following: Commissioner R,y Skelton introduced a proposed ordinance and moved its adoption. Commissioner W.H.Field seconded the motion. The motion, acrrying with it the enactment of the ordinance', precailed by the following vote: AYES. Commissioners, Roy Shelton, W.H.Field, and Mayor U.N.Clary. NOES: Nolte The mayor thereupon declared that the ordinance had beem duly eancted. The ordinance is as fol_l;;ws; ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND THE TOWN SECRETARY OF THE TOWN OF PROSPER, TEXAS! TO CREMATE CERTAIN D'?SCRIBED AUTHORIZED EXECUTED AND UNSOLD BONDS OF TIE DOWN OF REROSPER, TEXAS: SPECIFYING THE TIME WITHIN WHICH SUCH BONDS SHALL BE CREMATED: INSTRUCTING TIE MAYORAND TOWN SECRETARY TO EXECUTE AN AFFIDAVIT CERTIFYING TO THE CREMATION OF THE BONDS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. '..0 R. That the Mayor and Town Secretary are directed to cremate such bonds on or before the 15th day of November, 1943, before such disinter"steel wirhesses, and 3. That the Mayor, Town Secretary and the two disinterested .oe-sons are hereby instructed to execute an affida.vir certifying to the date and place of the drema.tion of the bonds des 'ribed herein and to furnish the Town Commission and the present bondholder or VVoarlholders with such properly executed and signed affidavit: 4.
