On this Zjrd day of March , A. D. 1939. the Tom
Commission of the Tom of Prosper, Texas, being in regular session,
at the regular meeting place, with the following members thersof
present, to —wit: U. N. Clary, Mayor, W. H.Field and A. H. Robison,
Commissioners, and C, W. Harper, Town Clerk, with the following
absent; None, constituting a Quorum, when among other proceedings
had were the followings
Commissioner A. E. Robison introduced a resolution and
moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Comeieeioner W. F.Field.
The motion carrying with it the adoption of the resolution and order
prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Commissioners W. H. Field and
A. :71. Robison, and Me or U. N. Clary. Noes: None. The resolution is
as follovat
RESOLUTION
•,'gi;r �F 15, the Town Commission, of the Town of='rosper, has
by ordinance dated the 22nd day of September, A.D. 1938, authorized
the issuance of Tom of Prosper, Texas, enter System Revenue Bonds,
Series 1933, of said Tom, for the M.,rpoae of ?mrchssing a water
works plant and making "lairs, extensions and impr,vments th.:rsto;
and,
WH'-% AS, pursuant to said ordinance, said bonds have been
issued and approved by the Attorney General of the State of Texas,
and registered by the Conptro'. 7.er; and,
the Tom Commission of the Tom of Prosper, Texas,
has received an offer of the United States of America, through the
Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works, to ;)urohase said
bonds to the extent and amount of $10,000.00 at par value thereof,
at a price of par, plus accrued interest to date of their delivery; and,
'HVFAS, the Tom Co:wieeion has endeavored to obtain a higher
bid from other sources for said bonds; and,
T'dtaEAS, the offer of the United States of America, through
the Federal Imergeney Administration of Public Works, for said bonds,
constitute the highest and beet bid which tuts been received.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Town Commission of the
Tom of Prosper, Texas:
1. That the offer of the United States of America of par and
accrued interest to date of delivery constitutes the beet and highest
:rid reesived by the Tom for said bonds.
2. That said bonds be, and they are hereby awarded to the
United States of America, In accordance with the tam* of the offer
made and duly accepted by this Tom; said bonds being described as
followat
Amount of bonds: $10.000.00
Denominationt $100.00 and ,500.00
Date of bonds: August let, 1938.
Purpose: Pnrehasiag a eater works plant and making
repairs, extensions and improvements thereto.
Interest: 4%i per annum, payable semi—annually on
August let and February lot in each year
after date.

Seed and directed to do all things necessary and convenient to carry out
the tome of the ourchese of said bonds ano the accomplishment of delivery
of said bonds to the United States of America.
