All of the foregoinc!: officers have duly filed their oaths of
office and each of them legally required to give bond or undertaking
has filed such bond or un(lertaking In form and amount as required by
law, and has otherwise duly qualified and each to the acting officer
holding the respective office stated immediately following his name.
2. The Town has not designated an official newspaner but ordi-
nances, resolutions and official notices, which ore required to be
published, are published from time to time in the manner following:
By Hosting copies thereof at three public places In the Town
of Prosper, Texas, one of such notices being hosted at the ^roener
quote Bank Building, which Is used as the Town Hall and which Is the
regular meeting place of the i'own Commission.

3. The population of the Town as appears from the Federal
Census of 1930 Is 287.
4. The total assessed valuation of the taxable property in
the Town for the year 1938 is A145,450.00.
5. The regular meetinea of the Town Commission of said Town
are held on the fourth Thursday in each month in the Prosper State
Bank Building, which Is used as a Town Hall and which is the regu-
lar meeting place of the Town Commission in said Town, and on July
28th, 1938, at a regular meeting the Board of Commissioners of said
town provided, by order duly adopted, that its regular meetings
should be thereafter held on !Ioneay of each week.
6. The correct corporate name of said Town is "Town of Pros-
per, Texas", and said Town was duly Incorporated pursuant to the
general laws of the State of Texas, on April 17th, 1914, and duly
accented the provisions of Title 28, Revised Civil Statutes, Texas,
1925, on the 28th day of July, 1938.
