We, the undersigned officers, appointed to hold an election
In the Town of Prosper, Texas, on the 25th dcy of February, A.D.
1939, on the following proposition:
"Shall the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Prosper, Texas,
be authorized to issue bonds of the Trwn of Prosper, Texas, in the
sum of Two Thousand (*2,000.00) P.ollars, payable serially within
%N' any given number of years not to exceed ten (10) years from the
date of said bonds, bearing interest at a rate not exceeding four
(4%) per centum per annum, interest payable annually, and to levy
an ad valorem tax on all taxable Property within the limits of said
Torn sufficient to pay the annual interest on said bonds and pro-
vide a Sinking Fund to pay the bonds at maturity: said bonds for
the purpose of making permanent improvements to the water works
system within the limits of said Town, that is the laying of addi-
tional water mains within said Town limits, as authorized by the
Constitution and Laws of the State of Texas."

on this the 29th day of February, A.D. 1939, the Town Com-
missinn of the Town of Prosper, Texas, being convened in regular
session, at the regular meeting place, with the following members
thereof, to -nit:

Mayor
W. H. Field
A. E. Robison
Commissioners
C. W. Harper
Town Clerk
present, and the following absent: Nona, constituting a quorum,
when, among other proceedings had, were the following:
Commissioner W. H. Field introduced the resolution and moved
Its adoption. The motion was seconded by Commissioner A. F. Robison.
The motion carrying with It the adoption of the resolution
%NW prevailed by the following vote:
AYES: Commissioners W. H. Field and A. E. Robison and Mayor
U. N. Clary.
NOES: None.
The resolution is as follows:

TWO THOUSAND (32,000.00) DOLLARS BONDS OF SAID
TOWN FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING PUW!ANENT IM_

LVAIT3 OF SAID TOWN.
WHEREAS, on February Bth, 1939, the Town Commission adopted a
resolution and order calling an election to be held In the Town of

%� Prosper, Texas, on the 25th day of February, 1939, on the following
question:
"Shall the Board of Commissioners of the Town of
urosper, Texas, be authorized to issue bonds of
the Town of Prosper, Texas, in the sum of Two
Thousand ("2,000.00) Dollars, payable serially
within any given number of years not to exceed ten
(10) years from the date of said bonds bearing
interest at a rote not exceeding four (4%) per
centum per annum, interest payable annually, and
to levy an ad valorem tax on all taxable property
within the limits of said Town sufficient to pay
the annual interest on said bonds and provide a
Sinking Fund to pay the bonds at maturity; said
bonds for the purpose of making; permanent Improve-

as is reflected in the election returns heretofore filed with the
Town Clerk.
%W BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN MIMISSION nF THE TMN OF PROSPFR,
TEXAS:
1. That said election was duly called; that notice was given in
aoeordanee with law and in accordance with the resolution and order
palling the election; that the election was held In accordance rith
law; that due return of said election has been made by the nroper of-
ficers; that said election has resulted favorably to the laeuance of
said bonds; that a majority of the qualified voters who h:id duly ren-
dered their property for taxation voting at said election have voted
In favor of the issuance of said bonds.

authorised, ordered and directed to issue said bonds and to do any
