Harper, the Town Clerk of the Town of Prosper, Collin County, Texas, do hereby certify as follows: 1. All of the foregoing officers have duly filed their oaths of office and each of them legally required to give bond or undertaking has filed such bond or undertaking in form and amount as required by law, and has otherwise duly qualified and each is the acting officer holding the respective office stated immediately following his name. 2. The Town has not designated an official newspaper but ordi- nances, resolutions and official notices, which are reauired to be published, are published from time to time in the manner following: By posting copies thereof at three public places in the Town of Prosper, Texas, one of such notices being posted at the Prosper State Bank Building, which is used as the Town Hall and which is the regular meeting place of the Town Commission. 1. 3. The population of the Town as appears from the Federal Census of 1930 is 287. 4. The total assessed valuation of the taxable property in the Town for the year 1939 is $ )Sq{ s-q0 ON 5. The regular meetings of the Town Commission of said Town are held on the fourth Thursday in each month in the Prosper State Bank Building, which is used as a Town Hall and which is the regu- lar meeting place of the Town Commission in said Town, and on July 28th, 1938, at a regular meeting the Board of Commissioners of said town provided, by order duly adopted, that its regular meetings should be thereafter held on Monday of each week. 6. The correct corporate name of said Town is "Town of Prosper, Texas", and said Town was duly incorporated pursuant to the general laws of the State of Texas, on April 17th, 1914, and duly accepted the provisions of Title 28, Revised Civil Statutes, Texas, 1925, on the 28th day of July, 1938.
