Commissioners Present: Vice Chair Josh Carson, Secretary Glen Blanscet, John Hamilton,
Matt Furay, Brett Butler, and Deborah Daniel
Absent: Chair Damon Jackson
Staff Members Present: David Hoover, AICP (Director of Development Services), Suzanne
Porter, AICP (Planning Manager), Dakari Hill (Senior Planner), Jerron Hicks {Planner), Carlos
Branch (Planning Technician), and Michelle Crowe (Senior Administrative Assistant)
Items for Individual Consideration:
1. Discuss items on the September 15, 2026, Planning and Zoning Commission agenda.
Town Staff provided an overview of Consent Agenda Items 3a -3c.
The Commission discussed Item 3c project requirements, including accommodating a berm and
trail along Coit Road, floodplain regulations, lot elevation requirements, the location of the
roundabout, and street standards.
Town Staff provided an overview of Regular Agenda Item 4.
The Commission and Staff focused on the purpose of the rezoning, future road improvements,
permitted uses, existing metal buildings, uses allowed in surrounding business park
developments, and whether the request supports the Town's long-term planning and strategic
goals as it relates to the Dallas North Tollway Guidelines.
