Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present
1. Comments from citizens. *
2. Welcome onboarding members to the PEDC board of directors: Charles Cotten and Jason Dixon.
3. Election of officers.
4. Consider and act upon board member appointments to the TIRZ 1 and TIRZ 2 Board.
5. Consider and act upon the minutes from the September 21, 2026, board meeting.
6. Consider and act upon the PEDC financial report for the month of September 2026.
Take any additional action necessary.
7. Consider and Act upon a sponsorship request for special events. Presentation from Stephen Tanner, Director of
Community Engagement & Community Experiences.
8. Presentation regarding open containers from Robyn Battle, Executive Director.
9. Discussion regarding attorney/law firm.
10. Executive Director update.
11. New businesses update.
12. Confirm or change the board meeting scheduled for Monday, November 16, 2026.
13. Recess into Closed Session in compliance with Section 551.001 et seq. Texas Government Code, as authorized by
the Texas Open Meetings Act, to deliberate regarding:
Section 551.073 – To discuss and consider a charitable donation request from a local non-profit organization
and all matters incident and related thereto.

14. Reconvene into Open Session and Take any action necessary as a result of Closed Session Deliberations.

preferably before the meeting begins. Pursuant to Section 551.007 of the Texas Government Code, individuals wishing to address the Prosper Economic Development
Board for items listed as public hearings will be recognized when the public hearing is opened. For individuals wishing to speak on a non-public hearing item, they may
either address the Prosper Economic Development Board during the Citizen Comments portion of the meeting or wh en the item is considered by the Prosper Economic
Development Board.
* The public is invited to address the EDC on any topic. However, the EDC is unable to discuss or take action on any topic not listed on this agenda. Please complete a
“Public Comment Request Form” and present it to the PEDC board president or staff member prior to the meeting. Comments are limited up to three minutes with a
cumulative total for Citizens’ Comments not to exceed 15 minutes.
