Joint Meeting of the Prosper Town Council
and Parks and Recreation Board

Tuesday, April 12, 2005 6:00 p.m.
1.Call to Order/Roll Call.
The meeting was called to order at 6:07 p.m.
Members present include: Karen Williams, Trent Lewis, Maureen Patin, Diane Stephens, Amy Drown, Jan
Brown, and Scott Sigman.
Mitch Humble, Director of Planning, and all Town Council representatives.
2.Discuss and identify the desired characteristics of and facilities within a community park.
Board members and Town Council representatives reviewed and discussed the priority of amenities compiled
in a brainstorming exercise conducted by the Parks and Recreation Board in July 2004.
3.Discuss the feasibility of developing joint facilities of the Town and the Prosper Independent School District,
including, but not limited to, the park site at the La Cima Elementary School and a site for a community park
and athletic stadium.
Board members and Town Council representatives discussed the feasibility of this project and will use this
information in determining the appropriate next step in the process of site selection.
4.Adjourn.

7-0. The meeting was adjourned at 6:58 p.m.
