1. Call to Order / Roll Call
The meeting was called to order at 6:07 p.m.
Roll call was taken by the Development and Parks Planner.
Regular Meeting of the
Prosper Planning & Zoning Commission

Tuesday, May 15, 2007 6:00 p.m.
Commissioners present included: Mark DeMattia, Ronni Gallup, George Dupont, and Marcus Ruark.
Commissioners Troy Brock, Jessica Arce, and Reno Jones were not present.
Staff present included: Hulon Webb, Director of Development Services and Chris Copple, Development and
Parks Planner
2. Consider and act upon minutes from the following Planning & Zoning Commission meetings:
• May 1, 2007 Regular Meeting
Motioned by Ruark, seconded by Gallup to approve item 2. Motion approved 3-1. Dupont abstained from
voting because he was not present at the May 1, 2007 meeting.
REGULAR AGENDA
3. A public hearing to consider and act upon a request to rezone 40.4f acres located on the south
side of Prosper Trail, 1,500t feet east of Coleman Street to amend Planned Development-30
(Prosper Creek Estates). (Z07-11).
Copple reviewed the zoning request with the Commission.
Motioned by Gallup, seconded by Ruark to remove the public hearing from the table. The public hearing
was left open from the May 1, 2007 meeting.
Pat Atkins, representing the applicant, discussed the request with the Commission.
Don Sutton, a Trails of Prosper resident, expressed concerns about the fencing and the drainage.
Chris Cooper, a Trails of Prosper resident, expressed concerns about the fencing and the drainage.
Chris Blair, a Trails of Prosper resident, expressed concerns about the drainage, but has no concerns with the
proposed masonry wall.
Motioned by Ruark, seconded by Gallup to close the public hearing. Motion approved 4-0
Motioned by Ruark, seconded by Gallup to approve the zoning request subject to:
1. The wood fences located on the retaining wall adjacent to the Trails of Prosper must have metal
posts anchored in concrete.
Motion approved 4-0.

• 4. Possibly direct Town Staff to schedule topic(s) for discussion at a future meeting.

Motioned by Gallup, seconded by Ruark to adjourn. Motion approved 4-0.
