The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m.

Parks and Recreation Board Meeting

Staff Members Present:
Dan Baker, Director of Parks and Recreation
Kurt Beilharc, Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation
Matt Furr, Parks Superintendent
Trevor Helton, Recreation Manager
Talia Stevenson, Senior Administrative Assistant
Consider and act upon the minutes of the January 8, 2026, Parks and Recreation
Board Meeting.
Motion to approve the minutes made by Board Member Rodriguez, seconded by Board
Member Horan. Motion approved 6-0.
Citizens Comments.
There were no citizen comments.
Receive staff updates: Recreation, Park Development, Park Operations, and
Director.
Park Development:
Assistant Director Kurt Beilharz provided an update on the Raymond Community Park
project. The contractor is currently installing sod grass across the entire site. General
cleanup activities are ongoing throughout the site. The playground is 100% constructed
but is not yet ready to open to the public. Parking lot striping has been completed. The
contractor has also begun the close-out process. Additionally, the bid for the well and
pumps has been approved by Council.
Recreation:
Recreation Manager Trevor Helton provided updates on upcoming recreation events.
Mayor's Coffee for Active Adults (55+) will be held on Wednesday, March 11 from 9 a.m.
to 11 a.m. at Prosper Fire Station #2.

Registration is currently open for The P-Town Throwdown Pickleball Tournament being
held on March 28'h at Raymond Community Park.
Park Operations:
Parks Superintendent Matt Furr provided updates on the slats that are being installed at
the Raymond Community Park pickleball courts.
Director:
Director Dan Baker provided a recap on the Town Council/Boards and Commissions
Workshop. He thanked Assistant Director Kurt Beilharz for his service to Prosper and
congratulated him on his retirement.
Additionally, Baker reviewed the upcoming calendar stating the Raymond Community
Park Ribbon Cutting will be held on February 241h at 2:00 p.m. and the next Parks and
Recreation Board Meeting will be on March 12th at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
