The Prosper City Council met in reSular session Lay 13, 1930 at 7:00 P -1 -
with the following members present: hayor, Ralph Dover., Couijcilmen Don
leneau, Dan Christie, Danny Webb, .Stanley Hebb, Cecil Norrist
The mayor called the meeting to order and asked for a -reading of the ii'iinutes.
They were approved as read.
The mayor introduced Jack Crampton from Texas Power and Light Co. Motion was
made by Dan Christie that we accept the resolution from TexaPower and Liqht
for an increase in,rates of 10.03% awarded them by the Public Utility Hearing
Board in Austin. Seconded by Cecil Norris and carried. The new rates will
go into elect May 25, 19301

Albert W. Cline of Water Tahk Service Co. Inc. briefed the council on repair
a! the overhead water tank. Notion by Dnn Christie that we have the repair
Cone and siqn the contract with his company, at a cost of 1115,300 -00 -
Seconded by Don Reaeau and carried.
The council reviewed the Tinancial Statement, Expenditures for April, Statements
of Income and Balance Sheets. They were approved.
Motion was made by Dan Christie to elect Danny Webb Mayor Pro -tem. Second(, -,l -fi7 ;;,t.. C
Cecil Norris ani carried.
The council approved sending the secretary to T.A.A.0. School in ?art Worth.,
June 2 -3 -4th.
The council re-inacted the Ordinance to have Solicitors in Prosper register .51 10 - D
with the city office and pay a fee of 110.00.
Under new contract with Danville Water Supply, the City agreed to pay a
minn*_mum of k'P25-00 for the first 10,000 gallons and $.93 per 1000 gallons
over and above, and to take our volume o7 water in the evening hours.
Dids for street repairs from Eilly Ross Pell were submitted by the mayor.
Motion by Dan Christie that we have Mr. Pell rework Fifth Street around to
Broadway at a cost of 07,000-00 th $3,000.00 and use remaining funds avail-
able to re -surface other streets where most needed. Seconded Cecil Norris
and carried.
