As there were no comments or discussion the hearing was closed. Approval of Ordinance 84-23 Annexing_ Northchase Estates: Doke Stanton made a mot - '...m a ,e-.Ord y .. ion to approve Ord`iWnan,ce �.- 3 annexing Northchase Estates into the City limits. Steve Bell seconded the motion. Motion carried. Approval of Final Plat on Northchase Estates: Doyce Stanton made "1-m6f " ' ' 66 'approve....the- f nal...pllaf-'a'sµ 's" ubmitted on Northchase Estates. Steve Bell seconded the motion. Motion carried. City Property Sale - Award of Bid: On the lot located on Eighth Sreet a bid was received from Ms. Lillian Shelby in the amount of $15,000.00. After financing was debated Cecil Norris made a motion to award the bid to Ms. Shelby and accept her dowm-payment of $1500.00 and the balance to be paid within 18 months at 10% interest. Doyce Stanton seconded the motion. Motion carried. Tony James - Tapping_Fee Discussion: Mr. Tony James was present todisce usms th-tapping"fees on his trailer park. He felt that since he had been told earlier that the fee would include only physical taps he should not have to pay for an indiidual water and sewer tap for each lot. He was requesting a financial suport promise from Prosper. The Council told him they would certainly keep it in mind during the budget process and to come back when he was in operation with contracts for their inspection. A special meeting was called for August F-37 i t; Y Nall for the purpose of working on the budget and tax rate. 11,)� pf'rr,t,�n�(;sta.�:,AQ'ire Chief Stanton was present to discuss problem and request the council consider a monthly contribution to help the moral and encourage new membership and to help the present members to become active. The Council promised to consider a figure during the budget work session. Bills: Doyce Stanton made a motion to approve the payment of the bills as presented. Stee Bell seconded the motion. Motion carried. Personnel: Cecil Norris made a motion to releive Vennie all Water and Sewer duties (except on his alternate ,eroc,4u;';P,Ad) and employ him strictly as City Marshall and for him to use his own car and to present the -Council with a salary figure at the next meeting.
