City Hall 7:00 PM
Those Present: Mayor Cockrell; Council members: Steve Bell,
Grady Smothermon, John Christie.
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Mayor Cockrell.
Approval of Minutes: Steve Bell made a motion to approve the
minutes as read. John Christie seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Public Hearinq on Dalton Rezoninq Request: The Mayor called the
public hearing to order stating that Mr. Mike Dalton had filed
for rezoning on on his lot on the SE corner of Coleman Street
and Seventh Street. The lot is currently zoned residential or
single-family and hold a present use of vacant. Mr. Dalton has
requested a desired zoning of commercial with restrictions and
stated his desired use is to sell the property. After discussing
with mr. Dalton the restrictions he had in mind, the Mayor called
for any questions or comments from the audience. As there were
no further comments or discussion, the Mayor closed the Public
Hearing.
At this time the City Council entered into a closed session with
their attorney's for discussion of current litigation between the
City and Jay Marcom.

Resubdivision of Block 18 of the Bryants #1 Addition: Steve Bell

made a motion to table any action on this. John Christie seconded
the motion. Motion carried.
Approval of Buildinq Permit on First Baptist Church: John Christie
made a motion to approve the building permit as requested by the
Baptist Church. Grady Smothermon seconded the motion. Motion
carried.
Approval of a Fee Schedule Ordinance: Steve Bell made a motion to
table any action on this ordinance until the Council had time to
review it. John Christie seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Approval of An Ordinance Calling a Public Hearinq on the Re-"
Zo.ninq Request as filed by Scott Tingle(Tingle Builders)
on the SE Corner of Coleman Street and Sixth Street:
John Chrisite made a motion to approve an Ordinance Calling
a Public Hearing for Tuesday, August, 12, 1986 at 7:00 PM
at the City hall for the Purpose of Obtaining Public Comment
on a Rezoning Request as Filed by Mr. Scott Tingle of Tingle
Builders on Lot 1 Block 2, Prosper Central Addition.
Approval of Bills: Grady Smothermon made a motion to approve
the bills for payment. John christie seconded the motion.
Motion carried.
Personnel: The Council entered into a closed session for discussion
of personnel.
Adjourn: John Christie made a motion to adjourn. Grady Smothermon
