10.10.2000 Town Council Minutes1,70 Regular City Council Meeting City Hall -109 S. Main Street Tuesday, October 10, 2000 7:00 p.m. Those Present: Mayor Pro -Tem Jim Dunmire, Charles Niswanger, Janet Phillips and Michael Perry. Larry Tracey and Mayor Stephen Coffman were absent. Call to order: Mayor Pro Tern Jim Dunmire called the meeting to order. Consent Nth: Motion by Charles Niswanger and seconded by Janet Phillips to approve the consent items. Motion carried. Comments from citizens: Forrest Bentley asked the City to replace the stop sign at CR 77 and CR 78. He also asked that the trees be trimmed on the North side of CR 78. Radean Herron, Tax A/Cj3eport: Radean was present and presented her monthly and yearly report. Motion by Janet Phillips and seconded by Charles Niswanger to approve the report. Motion carried. Approval A of Final Plat for Gentle Creek Phase 3: City Engineer Travis Roberts was present and reported to the Council that the developers had not corrected the plat as recommended in the Pre Construction meeting, Mr. Roberts recommended the plat not be approved until said changes were made and approved by his office. Council tabled approval of final plat. Apr)roval of Ordinance No. 00-26 amendina Prosper's Municloal Court Ordinance: Motion by Michael Perry and seconded by Charles Niswanger to approve the Ordinance. Motion carried. Action on approval of Bid for Workshop at See Treatment Plant: Charles Niswanger has researched the issue and offered to oversee the construction process and to provide reports to the Council. Motion by Charles Niswanger and seconded by Janet Phillips to, approve the bid. Motion carried. 6poointment of Land Use Committee: Motion by Janet Phillips and seconded by Charles Niswanger to appoint the following people to the Land Use Committee: • Larry Tracey Bob Jameson • Mike Parkinson Lloyd Rucker • Mike Wadsworth Richard Chumbley • Julie Geiger Discussion on Health Ordinance: Tabled.
