Main, 7:00 P.M Those Present: Mayor Coffman, Charles Niswanger, Larry Tracey, Michael Perry, and Janet Phillips. Jim Dunmire was absent. Call to order: Mayor Coffman called the meeting to order. Annexation of LDJ Redi Mix: No comments from audience. Public Hearing was closed at 7:11 p.m. Consent It rens: Motion by Janet Phillips and seconded by Larry Tracey to approve. Motion carried. Motion by Janet Phillips and seconded by Larry Tracey to appoint Radean to calculate and publish required rates and notices, Certification of anticipated collection rate, and Certification of excess collections. Motion carried. Discussion and possible action on building work shoo at sewage treatment pont: The council requested that Mickey Clark provide them with two more bids and get a more detailed bid from David James. Charles Niswanger will take charge of this project. No action was taken. Consideration of approval of final plat. ]I orthridgq _Addition: Tabled. Bill Little presented the council with current pictures of Mr. Brooks' property and an update on the situation. Item was tabled. Reauest for variance at 121 W. ltroadway: Mr. Gurley and his engineer were present in request for a variance on brick. He wanted to leave the rear and East side of the building as metal. The council asked Mr. Gurley to meet with Larry James, neighbor, and try to work on a possible screening wall between the two buildings. The Council also wants office fronts on Main Street. No action was taken. Steve Matthews with TXU — Motion to suspend "I XU Gas rate filing: Steve was present and briefed the council on the Resolution. Motion by Janet Phillips and seconded by Larry Tracey to suspend TXU Gas rate filing for 90 days. Motion carried. Chuck Marshall -- financial report on baseball association: Chuck Marshall and Daniel Jones were present and gave a full report of the baseball season. The Mayor asked Charles Niswanger, Larry Tracey, Darren Riggs, Chuck Marshall, Bob Jameson and Steve Witt to work together on issues for next year's season. Cad StanI -7 e igt&qr v���an -Thea Mills Estates: Mr. and Mrs. Stanley were present in request for a variance on a garage in Rhea Mills Estates. Mayor Cofnan told them to first get a variance on deed restrictions and a waiver from 10 neighbors agreeing to a variance. No action was taken. Bob Jameson — Disc. On development of land: Mr. Jameson was present and first discussed Lots 24 and 25 in Amberwood Farms. Motion by Larry Tracey and seconded by Janet Phillips to approve Mr. Jameson's drainage plan. Motion carried. Mr. Jameson also asked the council's opinion on a new development that he is working on. It will consist of the following: '/2 acre lots at 100' wide, $40,000 per lot, 66-130 lots • 1 acre lots at 200' wide, $50,000 per lot • 3+ acre lots around private lake, 300' wide, $250,000 per lot The Council expressed interest in the development and will meet again with Mr. Jameson for a workshop session.
