Main Street Tuesday, May 8, 20017:00 p.m. Those Present: Stephen Coffman, Charles Niswanger, Janet Phillips, Jim Dunmire and Michael Perry. Larry Tracey was absent. Call to order: Mayor Coffman called the meeting to order. First Public Hearing, Northridge Addition, Rezoning: Public hearing was called to order at 8:00 p.m. The City Council gave a brief description of the planned development. The Council recommended that Sterling Projects rezone the property as Planned Development, strictly single family. This will allow the Council to write specific uses/restrictions on the property. No comments from citizens. Public hearing was closed at 8:08 p.m. Consent Items: Motion by Charles Niswanger and seconded by Janet Phillips to approve the consent items. Motion carried. Comments from Citizens: Citizen Forest Bentley noted the trees that are blocking sight at CR77, across from Corky Underwood. He suggested they be trimmed back. Charles Niswanger asked that Mickey Clark be told to trim these trees as soon as possible. No other comments made by citizens. Radean Herron, Tax A/C, Report: Radean presented the Council with a brief description of the appraised value roles from the Central Appraisal District. Motion by Janet Phillips and seconded by Charles Niswanger to approve the report. Motion carried. Ronnie TuckerFire Chief, Rem: Fire Chief Ronnie Tucker was absent. Volunteer Bill Little noted that they are still awaiting grant. No report was given. Prosper E.D.C. Re,pgrt: No E.D.C. members present. No report given. Canvass votes from Mav 5, 2001 City Election: Motion by Charles Niswanger and seconded by Michael Perry to accept the canvassed votes. Motion carried. Iammv Nelson — Consideration and oossible action on reauest for variance on Sion Ordinance No. 99-33: Ms. Nelson was present and gave a brief description of the requested variance for signage. Mayor Coffman assigned Janet Phillips and Charles Niswanger to work with Ms. Nelson to resolve the issue. Tabled until May 15, 2001, Council Meeting. No action taken. Paul McCracken -Consideration and Dossible action on reauest for variance on familv oet oiq: Mr. and Mrs. McCracken were present for discussion on the request for variance. Citizen Forest Bentley presented the Council with Deed Restrictions for Northchase Estates, prohibiting swine in the sub -division. Mayor Coffman tabled the issue until the Deed Restriction issue is resolved. No action taken. Action on awarding bids for new water wells: Travis Roberts presented summary of bids for water wells. He recommended we award J.J. Biffle the job in the amount of $617,944.00, subject to well site dedication. Motion by Charles Niswanger and seconded by Janet Phillips to award the bid. Motion carried. Phil Jobe - Action on Request for variance at 306 Stone Hollow Court: No one present to speak on behalf of Phil Jobe. Mr. Jobe presented request to Council at the April 10, 2001, meeting.
