04.01.2008 Town Council, P&Z Joint MinutesIMINUTES T Joint Work Session of the Prosper Town Council and Planning and Zoning Commission OF Prosper Middle School - Library 605 E. Seventh Street, Prosper, Texas SPER Tuesday, April 1, 2008 immediately following the 6:00 p.m. Planning and Zoning Meeting 1. Call to Order / Roll Call. The meeting was called to order at 6:41 p.m. Roll call was taken by the Town Secretary. Council present included: Mayor Charles Niswanger, Mayor Pro-Tem David Bristol, Deputy Mayor Pro-Tem Dave Turley, Kenneth Dugger, Mike Wadsworth, and Ray Smith. Planning and Zoning Commissioners present included: Chairman Mark DeMattia, Marcus Ruark, George Dupont, Reno Jones, Ronnie Gallup, Jason Dixon (Arrived 8:30), and Sam Johnson. Staff present included: Mike Land, Town Manager; Hulon Webb, Director of Development Services; Chris Copple, Senior Planner; Matthew Garrett, Finance Director; Dan Tolleson, Executive Director of the Economic Development Corporation; and Matthew Denton, Town Secretary. 2. Presentation and discussion on the proposed Mooreland Development. Jerry Sylo, Jones and Boyd, Inc., gave council a presentation on the proposed Mooreland Development. 3. Presentation and discussion on the proposed Gates of Prosper Development. Robert Dozier, Lincoln Properties, gave council a presentation on the proposed Gates of Prosper Development. 4. Discuss and give direction regarding residential development and design standards, including but not limited to permitted building materials for residential buildings; architectural requirements for residential buildings; landscape requirements for residential lots; residential lot sizes, minimum dwelling areas, and setbacks; and conservation/cluster development. (CC) Chris Copple, Senior Planner, gave council background information on this item. The Town Council and Planning and Zoning Commissioners discussed the development standards regarding future developments in Prosper. 5. Adjourn.
