Park Development:Pecan Grove Park
•The contractor has fully completed
all irrigation repairs.
•Sod installation started yesterday,
and good progress was made; 90%
of the required sod has been
installed.
•A punch list will be finalized, and
the project should be fully
completed by late autumn.
Park Development:
Lakewood
Preserve Park
•Staff met with the Hines (the
developer) and Ratliff (the
contractor) on 09/05 & 09/13 to
continue negotiating construction
costs. We now have the cost
reductions to bring the project
within budget.
•Hines and Ratliff are working to
revised the bid items and draft a
construction contract.
•A construction start is anticipated
within 4-5 weeks.
Park Development:
Raymond
Community Park
•The design team is currently
working through irrigation system
design issues.
•Construction documents are
scheduled to be fully complete
October 31.
•The bid phase in November.
•Staff plans to take the GMP to
Council for consideration in
December.

Restroom / Concession Building Concept
❖Installation of the new awning for the parking area at Parks admin office has been
completed.
❖Elevated temperatures lead to stress on irrigation systems, subsequently
necessitating repairs.
❖Construction material was repurposed from the Pecan Grove
Park improvements and is now being utilized for extra
parking space at The Ranch.
❖New slide exits have been installed on all slides at Windmill
Playground area.
❖Additional wood fiber has been incorporated around the
Windmill Playground area.
❖Crews applied fresh coats of paint to all soccer fields in
preparation of the Fall season.
❖New soap dispensers have been installed at Frontier Park to
enhance the existing facilities.
