Council present included: Mayor Charles Niswanger, Mayor Pro -Tem Lisa Dritschler, Dave Turley, Kevin Drown, Mike Wadsworth,
and David Bristol.
Staff present included: Douglas Mousel, Town Administrator; Claude Thompson, Town Planner; Kirk McFarlin, Police Chief; and
Sara Thetford, Assistant to the Town Administrator.
2. Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.
Invocation was given by Pastor Doug Fox of the Prosper United Methodist Church. The Pledge of Allegiance followed.
3. Announcements of dates and times of upcoming community events.
The General and Special Election will be on Saturday, May 13 at the Prosper High School.
• Dan Christie's memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, May 13 at the Prosper High School Gymnasium.

4. Presentation of a Mayoral Proclamation supporting "Buckle up in Your Truck" campaign May 22, 2006 through June 4,

Mayor Charles Niswanger presented Police Chief Kirk McFarlin with a Mayor Proclamation supporting the "Buckle up in Your Truck"
campaign.

in. Consider and act upon approval of the final plat for the Deer Run Addition, being 89 single-family residential lots and
certain private open space areas on 44.18± acres, located on the south side of Prosper Trail, east of Preston Road (SH
289) and the Raewood Addition (D06-6). (CT)
o. Consider and act upon approval of the final plat for the Quail Lake Addition, being 29 single-family residential lots and
certain private open space areas on 30.53± acres, located on the west side of Coit Road, east of the proposed Deer
Run Addition (DO6-07). (CT)
FINAL ACCEPTANCE
p. Consider and act upon final acceptance of Stone Creek Commercial Phase Two, being two retail lots on 3.77± acres,
on the west side of Preston Road (SH 289), 300± feet north of Broadway Street (D05-14). (CT)
Motioned by Mayor Pro -Tem Lisa Dritschler, seconded by Kevin Drown to approve item p subject to: 1) submission of the required
record plans; and 2) submission of the appropriate maintenance bond and inspection fee.
Motion approved 5-0.

natural gas distribution rates within the Town. (DM)
Motioned by Mayor Pro -Tem Lisa Dritschler, seconded by Mike Wadsworth to open the public hearing. Motion approved 5-0.

8. A public hearing to consider and act upon a request to rezone 72.32± acres on the west side of Coit Road,
approximately 2,000± feet north of Prosper Trail, from Agriculture (A) District to Planned Development (PD) District for
Single Family residential uses, including 35.82 acres of SF -22 (Tract 1) and 36.32 acres of SF -15 (Tract 2) (Z06-5). (CT)
Motioned by Kevin Drown, seconded by Dave Turley to open the public hearing. Motion approved 5-0.
