Regular Meeting of the
Library Board
Reynolds Middle School - Community Library
700 N Coleman Road., Prosper, Texas
Thursday, April 16, 2015, 6:00pm.
The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by Vice -Chair, Janet Hudson.
Roll call taken by Vice -Chair, Janet Hudson. Board members present included: Vice -Chair, Janet
Hudson, Chris Sanchez, Jennifer Stice, Jamie Pouster. Chair, Amber Bowden, Lucy Towle, and Sherilyn
Bird were absent.
PISD Liaison present included: Richelle O'Neil.
Staff Liaison: Leslie Scott, Library Director was absent.
2. Consider and act upon approval of the minutes from the February 19, 2015, Library Board
meeting.
Motioned to approve by Sanchez accepted by acclimation. Approved 4-0.
3. Comments by the Public.
None.
4. Report on Library Board update.
None.
5. Report from PISD District Librarian Richelle O'Neil.
The Prosper Community Library's circulation system is up and running in test mode. All materials are
separated from school materials. Complete separation will be finalized by the end of the school year.
6. Report from Library Director Leslie Scott.
Survey proposal has been completed by Hudson. Corrections made on final survey. Library staff will
promote the online survey. Survey can be completed by residents from May 1, 2015, through June 15,
2015. Survey results will be presented to Town Council by September 2015.
Motioned to approve survey by Sanchez, seconded by Pouster. Approved 4-0.
7. Determine topics for review/discussion at future meetings.
Final separation of school and Community Library collections.
Summer Library programs.
8. Informational Items.
None.
